About The Bo-Kaap
The Bo-Kaap climbs the slope of Signal Hill above the city centre: painted houses, mosques and cobbled streets, the historic home of the Cape Malay community. The Iziko Bo-Kaap Museum on Wale Street tells its story. It is a residential neighbourhood: be respectful when taking photographs.
